De nou ens trobem, aquest cop a Llinars del Vallès, totes les entrenadores, entrenadors, nenes i nens que hem participat en aquest fantàstic projecte, i com no també les famílies que han vingut a acompanyar-los. La raó és que han estat uns dies fantàstics que hem compartit moltes coses, sobretot escacs, però també moltes altres coses més!!
Els hi teníem moltes activitats preparades, i totes les hem gaudit moltíssim!!
Comencem el dijous a la tarda, amb un meeting de trainers, per explicar-los com ens organitzarem aquests dies, mentrestant la canalla gaudeix d’uns jocs de coneixença que els ajuda a trencar el gel, tot i que ja es coneixen entre elles i ells, fa temps que no es veuen… queden encantats quan els hi ensenyem les magnífiques instal·lacions que tenim gràcies al nostre ajuntament. Aprofitem per explicar-los que és el Calculímetre, que és una de les bases dels nostres entrenaments als escacs de base.
Divendres a primera hora, toca que el MI Armin Juhasz en faci la penúltima classe de “Training the trainers”, per acabar de tancar el projecte, mentrestant els infants gaudeixen d’uns minijocs que els hi hem preparat. Després del break toca que els nostres entrenadors facin un entrenament a totes les nenes i nens, perquè els entrenadors dels altres països puguin veure com fem nosaltres les classes. Sembla que s’ho han passat molt bé!!
Aprofitem el divendres per anar a dinar tots plegats, ja que després ens esperen les autoritats al Castell Nou, per fer la benvinguda i una visita al castell. La Tinent d’Alcalde, Mònica López, el Regidor d’Esports Gabriel Garcia-Miguel i la Tècnica d’Esports, Clàudia Pérez, ens van rebre amb tots els honors i els van obsequiar a les tres entitats amb un detall del poble, i a totes les nenes i nens amb una motxilla i una cantimplora. Després vam fer una visita guiada pel Castell Nou, amb l’acompanyament també de la Rafi Arjona. Després de la visita al castell, un “Chess-pong” per acabar de passar la tarda, que va ser la delícia de tothom.
Dissabte al matí comencem igual que el dia anterior, amb la diferència que les i els petits esportistes van haver de resoldre un escape room, però se’n van sortir mooolt bé. Després del “Sharing training” amb els nens i nenes, i ja a la tarda, la incansable WFM María Rodrigo ens va animar la tarda amb les seves simultànies rockanroleras, com ella les anomena, on va comentant amb cada un dels seus contrincants, les seves jugades i va donant consells tan d’obertures com mig joc com de finals. Després de les simultànies, corrent anem cap al Teatre Auditori on ens esperen 3 dones esportistes més, per parlar en una taula rodona sobre l’esport en clau femenina, ens acompanyen a la taula, a part de la WFM María Rodrigo, la Dra Mayte Serrat, alpinista i àrbitre professional de tennis, la ballarina professional Lali Rodríguez i la jugadora de bàsquet i entrenadora professional Emi Fernandez, que ens expliquen les seves vivències personals i reflexions sobre el paper de la dona en el món de l’esport.
Diumenge al matí toca compartir unes partides d’escacs, i quina millor manera que participant en el GAMBIT International Chess Blitz, per les persones federades, i en el Torneig Ràpides per aficionats, per totes aquelles que no ho estan, o per la canalla que s’inicia.
Un cop acabat el Blitz, la Laura Martin, coordinadora del projecte, fa la presentació oficial de tancament del projecte, i la posterior entrega de les Dames Blaves a cada un dels clubs participants com a recordatori d’aquest meravellós projecte que esperem que totes les i els participants guardin per sempre a la seva memòria.
I amb totes aquestes activitats donem fer finalitzat el projecte GAMBIT, els viatges han estat molt profitosos per a tothom i ens emportem molts bons records i una molt bona experiència que recomanem que tothom que tinguin l’ocasió, realitzi alguna de similar.

We are back, this time in Llinars del Vallès, with all the coaches, boys and girls who have participated in this fantastic project, and of course the families who have come to accompany them. The reason is that they have been fantastic days in which we have shared many things, especially chess, but also many other things!!
We had many activities prepared for them, and we have all enjoyed them very much!!
We start on Thursday afternoon, with a meeting of trainers, to explain to them how we will organize these days, in the meantime the kids enjoy some games that help them break the ice, even though they already know each other, they have not seen each other for a long time… they are delighted when we show them the magnificent facilities that we have thanks to our city council. We take the opportunity to explain to them that it is the Calculímetre, which is one of the bases of our basic chess training.
Early on Friday, it’s time for MI Armin Juhasz to do the penultimate class of «Training the trainers«, to finish closing the project, in the meantime the children enjoy some mini-games that we have prepared for them. After the break, it’s time for our trainers to do a training for all the girls and boys, so that the trainers from other countries can see how we do the classes. It seems that they had a great time!!
We took advantage of Friday to go to lunch together, since the authorities are waiting for us later at Castell Nou, to welcome us and give us a visit to the castle. The Deputy Mayor, Mònica López, the Sports Councilor Gabriel Garcia-Miguel and the Sports Technician, Clàudia Pérez, received us with all the honors and presented the three entities with a detail of the town, and all the girls and boys with a backpack and a canteen. Then we took a guided tour of the Castell Nou, also accompanied by Rafi Arjona. After the visit to the castle, a “Chess-pong” to finish the afternoon, which was everyone’s delight.
Saturday morning we started the same as the previous day, with the difference that the little athletes had to solve an escape room, but they did really well. After the “Sharing training” with the boys and girls, and in the afternoon, the tireless WFM María Rodrigo cheered us up for the afternoon with her simultaneous rock’n’roll games, as she calls them, where she comments on each of her opponents, their moves and gives advice on openings, middle games and endgames. After the simultaneities, we run to the Auditorium Theater where 3 more female athletes are waiting for us, to talk in a round table about women’s sports, we are accompanied to the table, apart from the WFM María Rodrigo, the psychologist Mayte Serrat, the professional dancer Lali Rodríguez and the basketball player and professional coach Emi Fernandez, who tell us their personal experiences and reflections on the role of women in the world of sports.
Sunday morning it’s time to share some chess games, and what better way than by participating in the GAMBIT International Chess Blitz, for members, and in the Rapid Tournament for amateurs, for all those who are not, or for the kids who are just starting out.
Once the Blitz is over, Laura Martin, project coordinator, makes the official closing presentation of the project, and the subsequent delivery of the blue chess Queens to each of the participating clubs as a reminder of this wonderful project that we hope all the participants will keep forever in their memory.
And with all these activities we bring the GAMBIT project to a close, the trips have been very beneficial for everyone and we take away many good memories and a very good experience that we recommend that everyone who has the opportunity, do something similar.
